"I am in the minority, I am sure. If Ahren Belisle was not good, this venue at the AC House of Blue would have been a disaster. The doors opened at 7 pm. First of all, people were on line since 6 pm when the doors opened. A forgettable starter band came on stage after 40 minutes. What followed was worse: another band, where the lead singer, a drugged out blond, continued to curse and BEG the audience to sing along. She seemed annoyed that WE, the audience, were not into their music (We were there to hear Ahren Belisle). Ahren Belisle finally went on after 3 hours and played for about 1 hour ONLY. They played most of their hit songs and Ahren Belisle was great. I would NOT recommend this concert to anyone. Why? Why stand on line? Why stand for 3 hours to wait for the HEADLINER to show up? Why try to squeeze in the pit or pray for a seat above which is overpriced since you only see the headliner for one hour? If you honestly like this form of entertainment and abuse, I suggest that you think again on why you came to this venue to see just ONE ACT not 2 lousy ones and wait forever for the original. I hope if Ahren Belisle does come to my town again that they learn from their huge mistakes on this one. Yes, Ahren Belisle was good and she SAVED the SHOW! The CD is out. If you are a fan, go buy it. Do you want to be disrespected then continue going to shows like this one."
